Peter Szilvasy and his customs
Peter Szilvasy is the first one, who sent in his custom figures. Thanks Pete! Our fellow collector has a nice collection mostly with basic figures. He made some custom figures too, which he called "easy pie". Let say not too difficult.
Peter wanna show us, making a custom figure on a basic level is not a big deal. It is a task, that every beginner customer can easily absolve. It is also a good idea for us all, that remaining part, extra accessories, heads etc. are still a good raw material to make a
homogeny figure, which looks like a new one.
This Tatooine peasant drinking in the cantina was created like that. (from a Luke torso, and a Ric Olie head)
You can make a good use
of a vaporator Luke head, and a stormtrooper torso to build a new, poseable
Luke in stormtrooper disguise. With the proper friends, there is your rescue
scene!
There were yellow Naboo N1
fighters above Naboo, piloted by a woman, and by a black pilot. Peter wanted
to created that guy for himself, which is a real good idea. Not many makes
this, but a great idea!
Some years ago there were
not clones with removable helmet. When this red clone was released with tripod
cannon, it was a original idea to make a rem. helmet clone from it. Nowadays
every clone has removable helmet, but then, Peter well overtook Hasbro with his
idea! You can see his clone fellows queuing for helmet in the back, too!
Here you can see a clone pilot without
his helmet. It is special, because Pete has noticed a mistake, the clone pilot
has an open helmet, so there is no use of his life support equipment, as it
sends oxygen in the clone's helmet, but it goes out on the open area. That I
also mentioned in an earlier article, which will be published in this site
also, translated into English. Till that, you can watch Pete's custom clone
pilot, he has altered its helmet, and put the two air tube into the spacesuit.
I display some scenes from him, which depicts non-custom things. First reason - you can take a closer look on Peter's coll'. Second - I like them, because he uses background themes
virtuously. Worth checking out! A scene can even LIVE with a good background behind. Peter is good at it. He made several dioramas, which are telling.
What is also very interesting, Peter use
dynamics very well! Movements seem real, he used weapons, and items to make the postures realistic!
Lando grabs the vibro weapon, Han aims with his pistol, Boba
Fett attacks, Luke fights with Jabba's men, a living scene!
However this is not a Star Wars figure, but was made from a Star Wars figure. Peter used a Han Solo body for this Indy custom figure, and it was quite a good idea. As this is made from SW figure, and Harrison Ford plays both roles, I display this scene, to memorize: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hit the movies at 2008 May 22!
Thanks for the pictures!
